 The Valor Fitness BD-9 Independent Squat Stands are specifically designed for the squat function, boasting telescoping uprights that adjust from 49.5” to 79” and can accommodate a load up to 500lbs. Unique design provides greater stability as upright tubing measures 40” in length.

Secondary slider allows user to perform light bench press up to 350lbs with rear popper pin adjustment. The BD-9 Squat stands can partner with any Valor Fitness bench for variable bench press options.

3 placement pins to better support the weight of the bar, #1 upright adjustment pin which spans the inner length of the upright frame. #2 first popper pin for the secondary slider and #3 popper pin for the safety bar catch, which both adjustable popper pins (#2 and #3) also span the inner depth of the upright frame providing 3 point of support to the upright and to the bar under a heavier load.

With safety always in mind, Bar Safety Latch on each of the uprights prevents the bar from tipping under an even weight load. Simply flip the bar latch over the bar from behind while changing the weights. Just remember to unlatch the bar before beginning workout. Another safety feature is the safety bar catch. Let’s say the user cannot return the bar to the top resting position during a bench press. This lower positioned bar allows the user to safely drop the bar down without injury to his / her chest and safety exit the rack. Safety bar catch adjusts easily to user’s preference with popper pin adjustment. Valor Fitness offers a 1-year warranty on all popper pins.

7” long plate storage pegs not only offer storage for either standard or Olympic plates, but also provides extra stability during workouts while providing a grounded, weighted base to work from. When you bring the bar back, if you have some resistance and hit something solid, you’ll know you’re home and can safely bring the bar down into the uprights. Adds greater resistance to the stability of the bar. (see video for further example and explanation.) Expandable bases also aide in support, bolt/ nut adjustment from 20.25” to 28” deep.
